OVERVIEW

Mummy2Be ("Company") hereby agrees to rent maternity gowns ("Gowns") to the renter ("Renter") under the terms and conditions set forth in this Rental Agreement ("Agreement"). By accepting this Agreement, the Renter agrees to abide by all conditions as outlined below.

GOWN CONDITIONS

  1. Clean and Ready to Wear: The Gowns are delivered professionally cleaned and ready to wear. While Mummy2Be exercises the utmost care, the use of any Gown is at the Renter's own risk.
     

  2. Receipt of Gowns: Upon delivery, the Renter assumes full responsibility for the Gowns. Mummy2Be recommends a Secure Shipping Address to prevent loss or theft. Mummy2Be is not liable for Gowns left unattended or for delivery issues arising from an unsecured address.

RENTAL TERMS

  1. Returning the Gowns: The Renter agrees to return the Gowns in the provided Return Packaging by the return date listed on the online invoice. A late fee of $25 per day per item will accrue if the Gowns are not returned on time, up to 150% of the retail price of the Gowns.
     

  2. Lost Return Packaging: If the Return Packaging is lost, the Renter is responsible for returning the Gown in a similar package at their own expense, by the expected return date, with a provided tracking number to Mummy2Be.

FEES AND CHARGES

  1. Damage and Late Fees: The Renter is responsible for loss, damage, or destruction of the Gowns. Fees will be assessed based on the cost of repairs or up to the full replacement value. Water exposure, stains, and tears will incur additional charges. The Renter agrees to be billed for any such damages via the credit card on file or by other payment means agreed upon.
     

  2. Shipping Details: Gowns are shipped via Canada Post Expedited service with a 2 to 3-day delivery within Ontario. Mummy2Be is not responsible for carrier-related damages or delays.
     

  3. Cancellations: Reservations can be canceled up to 24 hours after booking for a full refund. Cancellations after 24 hours and before shipment will incur a 50% rental cost fee. Once shipped, reservations are non-refundable.

RENTER'S RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Safekeeping: The Renter agrees to keep the Gown in good condition during the rental period. The Renter acknowledges and agrees that any damage to the gown, including but not limited to water exposure, stains, or tears, will result in additional charges based on repair costs or full replacement value.
     

  2. Payment for Damages: The Renter authorizes Mummy2Be to charge any additional fees for damages to the credit card on file or agrees to make other payment arrangements as needed to cover the costs of repairs or replacement.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Renter agrees that Mummy2Be shall not be liable for any health-related issues or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Gown. The Gowns are rented 'as is' without any warranty of any kind.

AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE

By renting gowns from Mummy2Be and proceeding with the transaction, the Renter acknowledges and accepts all terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Renter confirms they are 18 years of age or older, or have parental/guardian consent to enter into this Agreement.

JURISDICTION

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Mummy2Be operates.
